This study aims to determine the tensile strength and bending on coconut fiber composite with unsaturted polyester resins (UPRs) and metyl etyl ketone peroxide (MEKPO) 1%, against the effect of alkali treatment, heating and their combinations thereof. The treatments used are alkali soaking 6% for 3 hours, heating of 140 ° C for 10 hours, as well as alkali treatment 6% for 3 hours plus heating of 140 ° C for 10 hours. Composite with 40% fiber volume fraction is made using compression molding method at room temperature. Tensile test using standard reference ASTM D 638, bending testing with ASTM D 6272. The results showed that the highest tensile strength in the combination treatment of alkali 6% for 3hours plus heating of 140 ° C for 10 hours amounted to 54.20 MPa and lows without treatment equal to 31.83 MPa. Further to the bending test, the results are the highest and the lowest at the same treatment also in the amount of 30.82 MPa and 27 MPa 77.

Electrical energy needs from year in Solo is getting bigger, due to increasing economic growth and welfare of the population also increased. How to meet the energy needs of the growing electricity in Solothen in need of an electrical load forecasting in order to supply electrical energy on consumer demand. Research on electrical load forecasting aims to predict the needs of the electrical energy used and installed power for the long term. Research on using electricity load forecasting model of Artificial Neural Network (ANN), the variables used in artificial neural network input variable includes the total population, the number of customers, the GDP, the electrical energy produced, electrc energy sold, power connected. Variables include energy output is sold, the power is connected. Model DKL 3.01 using models forecasting approach is data statistic. Hasil using ANN in 2011 until 2023, as the total amount of electricity sold amounted to 55,344,984,342 KWH as well as the total amount of 23,058,477,630 KVA power connected. Differences in forecasting results using DKL 3.01 ANN models from 2012 to 2023 in solo sold -29,499,476 KWH of electric energy, electric power difference of 20,132,301 KVA connected as well as differences KW peak load amounted to 6,814,809,9.

The value of the yarn strength on warp yarn sizing proces is one of indicator to determine the outcome sizing lot of quality warp yarn. Assessment of the yarn strength at sizing warp yarn, which is the test of tensile strengthper strand of yarn and warp yarn frictional resistance of the test sampel. The value of tensile strength per stand of warp yarn sizing results rayon Ne1 30íS influenced by the temperature factor of starch solution (A) and draft zone (C). Frictional resistence to the warp yarns sizing results influenced by the temperature factor of starch solution (A). the experimental results with Taguchi Method Show That the factor that influence maximum value of the tensile strength per srtand of yarn are a strarch solution temperature and yarn draft zone. Factor that influence maximum value of frictional resistanceis the temperature of strarch solution. The optimal cond itions are achieved in the parameter setting means A3 B2 C1 D3 maximize tensile strength per strand of yarn at 219,3333 gram/sheet and value of yarn frictional resistance at 717,3333 rotation, factor level combination of starch solution temperature of 86o C, under pressure roller squeezing roll pressure at 300 kg/cm 2, yarn draft zone at 1,4 % and cylinder dryer temperature at 95o C. The results of the comparison condition with the industry standard optimal conditions showed that the value of tensile strength per strand of yarn in optimal conditions capable to maximize 7,6666 gram/sheet and capable to maximize yarn frictional resistance value of 5,6666 rotation/measures of industry standards.

The brake motor vehicle is the product support is very important to reduce the speed of vehicles and provide safety for road users. The use of asbestos friction material has the disadvantage of asbestos can cause cancer risk for workers and users. Therefore , the use of cashew shell powder mixed with aluminum powder used as an alternative to the brake lining material is made from asbestos . This study uses cashew shell waste as a raw material and residual aluminium machining sekrap as reinforcing material and phenolic resinas a binder.
This study aimed to determine the characteristics of the physical and mechanical properties of the composition by weight fraction variations powder cashew shell waste / aluminum scrap as friction materials for brake linings. Variation of weight fraction consisting of phenolic resin was kept constant at 10%, while the shell of cashew powder and scrap aluminum powder was varied at 70:20; 65:25; 60:30; 55:35; 50:40. Include mechanical testing hardness test, wear test and bending test . Physical observation of macroand micro in order to see the characteristics of the brake lining wear for each composition.
The test results obtained the highest hardness value is 42.5 BHN in a composition of 20% aluminum scrap and 70% cashew shell powder.The results of wear testing composition of cashew shell with scrap aluminum 70% and 20% had the lowest wear value is 0.485 mm2/kg. The highest value of flexibility in the composition of cashew shell weight fraction of 70% and 20% scrap aluminum is equal to 8.56 N/mm2.

Metal working processes with Conventional turning is still widely performed us ing a cutting tool High Speed Steel type. Spindle speed, feeding, depth of cut and cutting tool major angle affects the process of turning the results that will affect the value of the surface roughness also affects the value of the tool flank wear during use.With Taguchi method optimal results with a surface roughness response A2B1C2D2.formulation, whereas for tool wear is A2B2C1D1 Because there are two different response variables not the same , we used the Taguchi method Multirespon MRSN . Optimization with MRSN obtained the optimal level combination that is A1B3C1D1.with composition rpm of 255 rad / min, feeding of rate 0.088mm / rev , depth of cut of 0.5 mm and the geometry used is a major angle 75o
