Judul PENGARUH BENTUK PENAMPANG BATANG STRUKTUR TERHADAP TEGANGAN DAN DEFLEKSI OLEH BEBAN BENDING

Abstrak

Dalam perancangan struktur, pemilihan material merupakan salah satu faktor yang penting yang menentukan kekuatan struktur. Salah satu persoalan yang sangat penting diperhatikan dalam perencanaan struktur adalah perhitungan defleksi/lendutan pada elemen-elemen ketika mengalami suatu pembebanan. Untuk menentukan ukuran penampang batang dalam analisis adalah dengan mencari besarnya momen inersia yang dibutuhkan dalam suatu pembebanan. Dalam perancangan struktur faktor berat struktural berpengaruh terhadap besarnya beban yang akan di tanggung oleh konstruksi.

Idealnya suatu rancangan konstruksi adalah yang kuat dan ringan. Namun kondisi ini seringkali tidak terpenuhi karena biasanya kekuatan berbanding lurus dengan berat konstruksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simulasi dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Catia untuk mengetahui perilaku suatu batang dalam hal ini adalah tegangan maksimum dan defleksinya bila dikenai beban.

Dari hasil simulasi didapat tegangan von misses terkecil terjadi pada batang dengan penampang persegi panjang sebesar 4,71x107 N/m2, kemudian batang dengan penampang berbentuk profil I sebesar 5,94x107 N/m2, dan yang terakhir batang dengan penampang berbentuk bulat sebesar 1,96x108 N/m2. Sedangkan defleksi terkecil terjadi pada batang dengan penampang berbentuk profil I sebesar 0,121 mm, kemudian batang dengan penampang bulat sebesar 1,85, dan yang terakhir batang dengan penampang berbentuk persegi panjang sebesar 0,188 mm. Untuk aplikasi struktur yang ringan dan kuat maka yang dipakai adalah batang dengan penampang berbentuk profil I.

Abstrak

Solar energy harvesting problem lies in cost and efficiency of the solar cell. This research offers alternative for efficiency boost by increasing cell illumination. Using v-trough reflector light is augmented to push solar cell voltage and current yield surpassing the actual non-concentrator condition. Conversion efficiency and productivity increases as the addition of both. V-trough experiment employing reflected light selection mechanism is done to raise polycrystalline solar cell output with 413 milliwatt of power and 72 cm2 area. The research design was carried out using Taguchi method referring to three level and three control factor Orthogonal Array with response factors of voltage and current. The three control factors are alpha angle, reflector height and reflector color. Solar cell output with and without v-trough usage are also compared in order to know the enhancement level. The findings revealed that both responses were affected by the control factors and optimum condition achieved on A3B3C3 parameter settings which is 65 alpha angle, 15 cm reflector height and a red reflector color. Result shows 1,48% and 20,88% solar cell voltage and current increase in v-trough implementation over the nonimplemented. After the use of 37,96mW solar cell power, then the Rp2.860,00 cost increase in v-trough configuration can be redeemed due to Rp75,35/mW cost reduction.

Abstrak

Cotton fabric has advantage for it has high absorbent so it is comfortable and suitable to be worn in a tropical climate like Indonesia, but it also has disaduantage, it is easily rumpled. The rumpled tenacity in textile material is characteristic of fabric related to recovery from fold deformation which emerges during worn. Cotton fabric is easly rumpled because it has low elasticity and its molecule composition in amorf position or irregular. This molecule will shift when it is fold and it is difficult to recover to the previous position when the fold is discharged. There is crease recovery that means that the material has tenacity and there is material which slowly recover so it causes fold which is called rumpled. There are two terms relate to the rumpled, crease resistance and crease recovery. When the textile material has low crease resistance, it also has low crease recovery or in another word this material is easily rumpled.

The objective of this research is to obtain the effect of the action in perfecting anti rumpled to the absorbent of material from warp direction as well as weft direction. The target result of this research is as reference to be able to know the influence of the action in perfecting anti rumpled of cotton fabric especially absorbent of fabric from warp direction as well as weft direction.

Abstrak

Yagi directional antenna models for outside broadcast radio transmitter that operates at a frequency of 470 MHz has not been widely used because it is still expensive and difficult to get. Strengthening and good reach an absolute requirement for quality directional antenna models Yagi. Taguchi method is one of the methods used to create an optimization strengthening and range of models yagi. The result of directional antenna manufacture yagi with calculation models Multi Response Signal to Noise (MRS ^ ) generated Optimal setting for strengthening and range that is A1B1C1D1E2F3 with the strengthening of 13.55 dB and the range of 2.94 Km.

Judul DESAIN MATERIAL BEBAN DAN FREKUENSI RESONANSI KOMPOR INDUKSI UNTUK MENDAPATKAN EFISIENSI ENERGI

Abstrak

The use of induction cookers are often constrained to issue a very large power consumption. By changing the frequency of the induction cooker and see the effect of the propagation of heat energy from the size the heat will affect the achievement of the time. The study, done is varying the frequency and load material to obtain energy efficiency to heat up as much as one liter of hot water until it reaches 90°C. The study design using the Taguchi method with reference to the matrix Orthogonal Array with 3 levels and 4 factors of control, ie frequency, material thickness, material type and the diameter of the load by factor, namely response to the response time.

The test results showed that all factors influencing the respon factor control and optimal conditions achieved at A1B1C1D1 parameter setting in frequency 29 kHz, 0.33 mm material thickness, type of material zinc, the burden of 12 cm diameter, and the achievement of efficiencies by 21.72%.
